Jordanhill Restaurant

From the sneaky entrance at the rear of the shops on Crow Road Glasgow right at The Train station this is the platform you should get off, Enter through the secluded willow screed garden relax outside... weather permitting on The Sisters Terrace where the ivy creeps up and over the walls the pansies bring out the sunshine smile or in the evening a flicker of candle in the hurricane lamps. Skip up the stairs and a wee peek through the round window past the big clock and warm wooden entrance takes into you into a cosy rustic gem of a find don't tell too many people you might struggle for a table the next time.

A morning coffee and great selection of tea with some hot out of the oven fresh buttered scones or pastries or meringues with a suggestion of cream and maybe a few Scottish berries when the summer is here just a nod to part of your 5 a day!

The chequerboard wooden floor with curvaceous copper bar, the Scottish Elm wood for somewhere to prop yourself after a hard day, a quick glass of something from our exclusive wine list from Inverarity Vaults and a bowl of hot steaming shellfish from the West Coast. If a comfortable evening spent at the Sisters is what you are after then take a seat peruse the excellent homemade Scottish traditional fayre menu... leave room for pudding as there are few nice choices to say the least.

Kelvingrove Restaurant

It's the younger of the two Sisters restaurants having been only facing on to the bustling Sauchiehall Street of Glasgow for a mere 6 years.

Pop in to receive the same warm friendly hospitality at the Kelvingrove Restaurant here on the edge of the West End just before tipping over into the City Centre, the old tenement building with high ceilings in a long room with beautiful tall windows to gaze at the hustle and bustle passing by, a stones through from the Kelvingrove Art gallery, The warmth from the stark black & white room will leave you feeling you have met a new friend sample the excellent Scottish cuisine that Jacqueline is so passionate about.

It's the same old saying local? except Big sis thinks the whole of Scotland is the best local we have. If it's from the harbour at Ullapool, the hills of Galloway the shores of the Western Isles from Dumfries to Dingwall Scotland has it all.

A table of any size or even our private booths which hold 6-9 covers set away from the restaurant enjoy the intimacy of a private booth which is available at either of the Sisters.
